Car Design has been a great interest of mine since I was a kid. Almost nine years of experience from Volvo Cars’ Design department gave me a new perspective on transportation design.

As Exterior Design Studio Director I had the opportunity to develop the Volvo 855/V70 variant of the 850 design. The signum of tall vertical tail lights still lives on within Volvo’s estate segment.

Also spending some time spent in Italy working with Bertone added some experience to my portfolio. This is an example of work carried out bot in Italy and Sweden – the face lift of the 780 where I was responsible for the design development. This Swedish proposal was actually the one that won over the Italian. So far so good but the car unfortunately was taken out of production before the concept was to become reality.
